This album was another in a series of albums I released that were influenced by my exploration of the Bible.This work in particular is a summarization of my experiences of a few years of studying the Bible. Hence the titles of the songs also reflect it.

Originally released in July 2000 under the title "The Wine Of Silence". A phrase I read by Guitarist Robert Fripp in in an interview from Musician Magazine in August 1984. Over the years Robert Fripp used the phrase again as a title of one of his Soundscapes albums. Out of respect for him and his music I puled the title from this album and have changed it to reflect it's re-release today.

On July 23, 2000 I did a performance at Damascus United Methodist Church where this album was for sale to help raise funds for reparations to a roof of it's sister church Friendship United Methodist Church.

I grew up as a catholic and learned much of my christian upbringing from that perspective. It really was not until this period of my life that I took a serious look at the christian faith and what it was I believed and thought about through the classes I committed to understanding the bible further. I'll withhold any detailed thoughts here but I always encourage friends and acquaintances, people I discuss such things with that you really cannot fully have an opinion without having a hard look at christian theology. And again as with all my music I leave room for interpretation and discussion. I always recommend listeners and fans of music to "use their illusions".
