This album developed over the last 6 months without clear aim. It's origins actually stretch a little further back to late November 2019. At that time it appeared to be going in a similar direction as my previous release a month earlier with "Anomaly".

Fairly obvious to say now for the last six months the world has been changed dramatically everywhere. During the course of living the last ensuing months I embraced the opportunity of "extra hours" to work on a new musical venture. It was soon apparent that even with increased "free time" music still develops at it's own pace including a concept, a direction, an aim.

The music that took form for this project is largely derived from the current political and social unrest, and yes the covid 19 virus that changed the world seemingly for good?

Call in a Heretic. "her·e·tic/ˈherəˌtik/ noun"

Simplified definition: "one who differs in opinion from an accepted belief or doctrine" - Merriam-Webster Dictionary

I would say 2020 has shown a variety of "heresy" from popular opinion to self-created expertise. But we've been Heretics before and will again.
